I am a Senior Data Scientist at Eversource Energy (largest utility in New England), working on data science and AI for electric utilities—including AI and imagery-based distribution inspection, 3D scanning and point cloud automation, multimodal AI-assisted compliance checking, and retrieval-augmented generation. I received the Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Dr. Jianhui Wang's group at Southern Methodist University, Dallas, USA (2019–2023), the M.S. from South China University of Technology, China (2016–2019), and the B.S. in hydropower engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China (2012–2016).
My expertise and interests include:
- Applications of large language models, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and computer vision for power system automation
- Substation lifecycle engineering and knowledge preservation
- Operations research and data analytics
- Machine learning, deep learning, and physics-informed methods for power systems
- Reinforcement learning for energy management and storage
I am open to research discussions and collaborations. Feel free to reach out via email!
